Understanding God’s Wisdom

Understanding God’s Wisdom

Wisdom is one of those qualities that is difficult to define—because it encompasses so much—but which people generally recognize when they encounter it. Most psychologist have a difficult time quantifying it. One thing that we know for sure is that there is no human wisdom that will ever supersede the Wisdom of the Father. It is our ultimate quest in life to search out for those who possess the Wisdom of the Father. There are many places throughout the Bible where it talks about the people who possess HIS WISDOM. Everything that man needs to succeed on earth, which includes the true Gospel, must be given on Earth, so that man can receive it. It is ‘el (God) who gives wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6). To receive this wisdom of salvation and eternal life, we must first fear him (Psalm 111:10) and humble ourselves to what he has to say (2 Chron.7:14).

God’s Wisdom; Man’s knowledge.

Most people think that wisdom and knowledge are one in the same, but they are two different sides of the same coin. Knowledge is nothing, but the facts known by a person, whereas, wisdom is the combination of experience and knowledge with the power of applying them or soundness of judgement in a person. There are a lot of people who have obtained knowledge through formal training, experience, etc. There are many religions, denomination and churches that have made tremendous gains within their ministry, however, these gains, whether they are in terms of membership growth or finances does not qualify them as a place of wisdom. Education is extremely important, especially when it comes to understanding the Bible (Hebrew/Greek studies, Biblical Hermeneutics, Research, Religion and Culture, etc.). However, only through divine selection can a person obtain the Wisdom of the Father.

This is what the Lord Said unto Abram

Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:1-3

Prior to this time, Man had lost the Wisdom of God. The Father is now telling Abraham that he is going to re-establish his Wisdom with man on earth through Abraham and then he will continue giving his Wisdom through his lineage (Isaac and Jacob). This is the Ancient in which Job is later referencing.

Change is Good, except when it comes to God’s word.

We can argue that evolution in many cases has helped in the advancement of today’s world. From medicine to technology, modern day changes have benefited

man regarding how he lives, conducts business, travels, etc. and in most cases our inability to adapt to change. Resistance to change isn’t unusual, nor is it always a bad thing. However, when a chief feature of a culture is its unwillingness to adapt to changing circumstances, the business culture is likely headed for trouble. The Bible (the Gospel) however is not such a thing which benefits from change. While the religious community will agree that neither the Father nor the Son has changed, the world has adopted modern day teachings and ideologies that were not part of the original teachings. We were told by Job that the Wisdom of eternal life resides in the ancient. Job said “With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. Job 12:12.

Why the Original is the Best

In the world we live in today, what has made man prosper in many ways is his/her ability to take what was original and expand upon it, making it a better product or service. When we think about righteousness/holiness, we know it is important that man preserves the original way, this includes the doctrine and the teachings, which is given directly from the Father/Christ. God was so adamant with the preservation of his teachings that he told Moses to have the kings to make copies of them and put his Law in a book (Bible)-(Deut. 31:26; Duet 17:18). Here is one of the greatest mysteries that the Bible teaches indirectly: there are two separate elements that must function together in order for man to have the Wisdom of God, which leads to eternal life. You must have the Holy Bible, although it was translated out of the original tongue, it has retained its original thought, but most importantly, it must be correctly interpreted, which is a Spiritual operation only done by the Father to whom HE HAS SET UP.
